Appraisal
Quality Assurance
MISSION: To provide quality (“competent, ethical, credible”)
appraisal and appraisal review services to our clients.
PROPERTY TYPES: SFR, 2-4 unit residential.
SERVICE AREAS: Cook County (includes Chicago), DuPage County,
Kane County, Kendall County, Lake County (IL), McHenry County,
Will County.
Appraisal and appraisal review, in communities with zip codes beginning with any of these three digits: 600, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607
OTHER: Assignments are generally completed within 3-business
days following inspection. Turn-around times are dependent upon
complexity of the assignment, volume of assignments at any particular
time, and location of the property.
CHIEF APPRAISER: Lee Lansford, IFA, is a Certified Residential (IL) Appraiser
and has been an appraiser since 1983. He is
1 of 27 (as of November, 2007) AQB Certified USPAP Instructors in
the State of Illinois. Lee served (2000; 2003-2007) as a contract investigator for
the Appraisal Admin. Div. of the IL Dept. of Financial & Professional
Regulation; at the request of the agency, he conducted field investigations
and reports of his findings for those instances where an allegation
has been made against an appraisal conducted by a licensed appraiser.
Mr.
Lansford is a past-instructor of Appraisal Principles at the
College of DuPage and has served as past-Director
of the
IL Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (ICAP).
Further,
he has served the NAIFA twice Regional Governor and twice as
State
Director; he was named the “2006 IL Appraiser
of the Year” by the IL branch of the NAIFA.
Lee
earned his MBA degree from DePaul University (concentration
in Real Estate Finance & Urban Development) in 1988.
Lee specializes in the appraisal of complex residential
properties and post-closing reviews of SFR and 2-4 unit residential
properties.
APPRAISER
STAFF: Four certified residential appraisers with a minimum
of 5-yrs. of
appraisal experience are regular providers
of service to Lansford & Associates. Additionally, the firm
utilizes the service of other well-qualified certified appraisers
when are where necessary.
